UK Based Database Software Companies

I have always had a fondness for the United Kingdom for myriad reasons. I have a good amount of family, friends and colleagues that live there. The times I have visited there have been quite memorable.

I am based in Canada, but the second largest cohort of the newsletter subscribers are based in the UK, right behind the United States. In fact, this newsletter was inspired by a day trip to York last year, while staying in Manchester.

Because of my fondness for the country, and the the discovery that 15% of the newsletter subscribers that are UK based, I wondered to myself “What are the some of the UK based database companies I should have on my radar”?

I have always known about the heavyweight Red Gate Software, but what about some of the others?

This not a comprehensive list but an interesting one nonetheless. Here we go:
